How it Works
MYWEBSPORT will be a global network of all billard players, which not only allows to communicate with players all over the world in real time, but also to hold tournaments and exchange knowledge without leaving your club. Here you can read the folder.
Livestream
In order to enable both players to watch each other during the game there are special cameras positioned at the billiard tables. The pictures are transmitted live or with an acceptable delay to the other location and transferred to the respective monitor. Also the sound is recorded with suitable microphones and reproduced with loudspeaker systems.
Reading Device
The position of the balls at location A is determined by the reading facility (e.g. a special camera) and transformed by the computer into a useable form of interpretation of the data (vectors, coordinates…) which enables a transmission to location B.
Transmission of Data The computed data which clearly determines the position of the balls is transmitted to the computer at location B via internet.
Re-producing the Situation at the other Site The position of the balls at the other site is indicated by a laser cross. The player of referee can place the balls to the millimeter using a stencil. Then the accuracy of the position is measured. If the accuracy is not sufficient, the player (or referee) is notified by an acoustic signal and has to place the balls once again. The player at the other site continues to play. When he ends his inning the reading device records the situation and the data is transmitted to the computer which forwards the data to the computer at the other site – and so on. In a next stage the balls will be positioned by a robot (or transponder).
Remote Control and Stencil in One
