Silver for Marco Zanetti at the World Games!

MYWEBSPORT coach & ambassador Marco Zanetti wins the silver medal at the World Games 2017 in Wrocław (Poland). The World Games are an international mega event for sports that are not played at the Olympics. The reigning European champion from Bolzano completes his medal collection at the World Games after bronze 2009 in Kaohsiung and gold 2013 in Cali.

With 40:33 Spaniard Daniel Sanchez wins this year's final against Zanetti thanks to a strong final spurt. For the third time already, Sanchez crowns himself to the World Games title holder and is thus a record winner of all billiard sports - besides three cushion (carom) also 9-ball (pool billiards) and snooker are played at the World Games. The third place goes to Sameh Sidhom, who defeated in the match for bronze Dick Jaspers. The next World Games will be held in 2021 in the US-American Birmingham.
