With convincing performances, Jimmy Riml ultimately won the Rocket Real Summer Cup unchallenged ahead of Mario Erdtner and Frank Ofner. 13 wins with only 1 defeat underline his superior tournament victory. A total of 9 players from Austria and Germany dueled for the title in this summerly, relaxed three cushion and five pins tournament format.
The tournament was played in round robin mode, in which each player could play against the same opponent up to five times per discipline. Match format and match distance could be chosen freely in accordance with certain minimum requirements. The results of both disciplines were added together. Remote games counted twice as much for the ranking as local games.
