Due to the corona pandemic, the training course of the three cushion perspective cadre planned for October 23rd-25th 2020 could not take place as presence course with all participants in one place as usual, and was about to be cancelled.

But new situations require new ideas and solutions and why not perform a "distance learning" course via live video? After all, the innovative video system "MYWEBSPORT" is located in the training venues of Lukas Stamm and Cengiz Karaca in Berlin and of Tom Löwe and coach Christian Rudolph in Bottrop, with which one-on-one lessons are possible live over the Internet.

Since the system had already been used several times in courses in the past, the idea was very well received by everyone involved and the measure could take place. With MYWEBSPORT, the positions of the balls on the billiard table can be transmitted exactly to the other playing venue and displayed on the table by laser cross. This ensures that the same constellation of balls can be trained on the billiard table at both locations. At the same time, you can see on a large screen how the athlete acts at the billiard table and can communicate with him or her using a headset.

The perspective squad athletes now need less fundamental new knowledge, but the individual analysis is in the foreground. For this reason, the players in the courses are asked to write down the problems and questions they have encountered during training or tournament matches so that they can be examined and discussed during the next course.

The individual lessons of this course began with these topics. Then a remote game was played, which was recorded and archived by the system. Afterwards, the participants discussed the positions if necessary and worked out a simpler solution.

"Cengiz Karaca, Lukas Stamm and Tom Löwe were passionate about their work and were fully motivated," said the visibly satisfied coach Christian Rudolph.

Many thanks to the Billiard Academy Berlin and the Billiard Center Weywiesen in Bottrop for providing the sports equipment including the MYWEBSPORT system!
