New in this sports season is that the Royal Pro Home Tour includes two rewarded discipline overall rankings. The Royal Pro Home Tour is our flagship in the MWS tournament calendar and endowed with a total prize money of €10,000 for the 2021/22 season. The tournaments are played alternately in the disciplines three cushion and five pins as well as single and double competitions. The Home Tour includes a total of 20 tournaments this sports season. €400 is paid out per tournament, plus at the end of the season a €1,000 bonus for each of the two overall rankings, which are kept separately for three cushion and five pins.

The three cushion tournament on next Saturday is played in round robin mode as a Scotch Double team tournament with second chance. In this mode, both players from both teams play a match together. The matches are played in the 5 Points Open End format on 4 winning sets (best of 7 sets), the players of a team take turns after each shot. Second chance means that the teams repeat their first miss once in each inning - so they get a second chance to continue their runs. The other team player carries out the repetitive shot.

These are the participating teams in the three cushion tournament:

  • Team BC Elite: Dmitriev, Ivan / Gajs, Zoran (Vienna, Austria)
  • Team BC Zurich: Cantürk, Kenan / Cetin, Behzat (Zurich, Switzerland)
  • Team Schurli's Base Camp: Bastl, Reinald / Schmied, Georg (Rosenburg-Mold, Austria)
  • Team Zipfer: Lee, Soonchun / Riml, Jimmy (Innsbruck, Austria)

In the five pins tournament, the matches are played in double mode on 2 winning sets (best of 3 sets) of 60 points each. In this mode, both players from both teams play a match together too. The players of a team take turns when the opposing team has scored points or when their own team has committed a foul.

These are the participating teams in the five pins tournament:

  • Team BC Basel: Antonazzo, Cosimo / Gorgoni, Antonio (Basel, Switzerland)
  • Team Momentum: Stam, Gerd / Tschander, Andreas (Zurich, Switzerland)
  • Team MP Solutions: Parasiliti, Sergio / Riml, Jimmy (Innsbruck, Austria)
  • Team Yoshikigoi: Driessen, Ernest / Kroonen, Marius (Turek, Poland)

The prize money tournaments of the Home Tour series are played online over the MWS system at various MWS locations worldwide. All matches are streamed live and freely available to everyone on our website. Access to these pro/am tournaments is open to all MWS users and not just for professionals. Every MWS user has the chance to participate and win prize money.
