The dominance of the Italian in the five pins competition remains unabated high despite his first set loss. Efler is the new three cushion champion.

On March 27/28 two international prize money tournaments of the Royal Pro Home Tour series took place via MWS. A three cushion tournament and a five pins competition were played, with a total prize money of € 1,000 for the players. The competitions were played via the MWS System, for all online fans the matches were broadcasted live and freely available on our streaming platform. This time 9 players at MWS locations in 5 countries joined in, among them five pins defending champion Luca Marzio Garavaglia and three cushion defending champion Tay-Dien Truong.

The three cushion tournament was completely open from the start and developed into an exciting exchange of blows between 6 players for 3 podium places to be awarded. None of the participants remained unbeaten, and each participant lost valuable points against immediate competitors. In the end, Andreas Efler still deservedly prevailed with all tournament bests and celebrated his third Home Tour success this year, including the New Year's tournament. Jimmy Riml took second place, Kim Bengtsson third.

The podium of the three cushion tournament:

  1. 1. Efler, Andreas (Hinterbrühl, AT | € 250 prize money)
  2. 2. Riml, Jimmy (Innsbruck, AT | € 150 prize money)
  3. 3. Bengtsson, Kim (Store Heddinge, DK | € 100 prize money)

Garavaglia's first loss of a set in the tournament chronicle of the Royal Pro Home Tour can be described as almost historic. It took four tournaments time to get a set won against the Italian, and Jimmy Riml succeeded in this feat. Of course, it was of no use, the tournament victory leads exclusively over Luca Marzio Garavaglia, a set win against the king is far from being enough. And so it finally happened as usual that Garavaglia safely won the tournament. The Italian top player is currently in a league of its own. Ernest Driessen (2nd) and Jimmy Riml (3rd) landed on the places.

The podium of the five pins tournament:

  1. 1. Garavaglia, Luca Marzio (Desio, IT | € 250 prize money)
  2. 2. Driessen, Ernest (Turek, PL | € 150 prize money)
  3. 3. Riml, Jimmy (Innsbruck, AT | € 100 prize money)
