The Royal Pro Home Tour went into the next round on October 23rd and 24th with two singles events. A three cushion competition was played on Saturday (October 23rd) and a five pins competition on Sunday (October 24th). These were the Home Tour competitions three and four of 20 in the 2021/22 sports season. The Tour is endowed with a prize money of €10,000 in total and is played online via the MWS system at various MWS locations worldwide. All detailed information about the Tour is available on our sports dashboard.

The three cushion tournament developed into a gripping thriller with a surprising beginning and an unpredictable outcome. Home Tour record champion Andreas Efler got off to a catastrophic start and lost all games by the lunch break, so his chances of winning the tournament were gone. Nevertheless, the podium was still within reach for him, as no athlete was left without defeat. After the break, he played more successfully, but it wasn't enough for the podium. His strongest challengers started the tournament much better. Roman Bachmaier, Kenan Cantürk, Zoran Gajs, Jimmy Riml, Georg Schmied and Tay-Dien Truong dueled for the tournament victory at eye level. The group of hunters was so evenly strong that no player from their ranks could stand out because they took away valuable points from each other.

In the last round of the tournament the decision had to be made, there was a showdown for tournament victory and placements. A complete overturn in the ranking was possible, several players were tied before the final round or were only separated from each other by marginal differences in the set ratio. At this point Schmied was leading the ranking, with a win in his last match he could have made everything clear. However, he promptly received a 0:3 defeat against Efler. Thus the door was open again for his last remaining competitor for the tournament victory, Jimmy Riml. Riml needed a clear 3:0 win over Cantürk in his last match to catch Schmied. Nothing came of the overthrow at the top, the final 3:2 victory by Riml secured Schmied the title and Riml the second place. Tay-Dien Truong came in third.

The five pins tournament the next day ran completely relaxed. The final result confirmed the entry ranking, Andreas Efler won unchallenged ahead of Jimmy Riml and celebrated his ninth tournament victory on the Tour. Cosimo Antonazzo came in third.
